the empire state building is a lovely sight. it has become more of a presence in my life in recent months. when i am at work, i can see it out the window, and on my walk home, i notice it every night.. and it always seems different. it catches my eye and i think to myself.. i can't believe that's the empire state building right over there. it is a true landmark of this fine city, changing its colors, hiding behing the haze and clouds, standing tall and proud. if you live here... take the time to have a good look at it. maybe you'll notice something new.

i really need to get my cellphone fixed. the caller id display on the outside has been slowly disintegrating over the last month. first it was missing one line, then 2, now i see a few dots and lines when someone tries to call and it's anyone's guess who it could be.

speaking of which, i think an appropriate ring tone would be the song... "who could it be now..." i imagine that someone, somewhere, has this ring and enjoys every minute of it.

i worked my way down the east coast a bit this weekend. made a point to see someone i haven't seen in 3 years. it was a fun adventure, followed up by seeing more people i don't often see.

i have been seeing a lot more celebrities lately. not any big stars or anything, just people who are sort of familiar. i don't realize how i know them until after i walk away, and well, after i look at them with that i know you sort of look... which is often met with the same gaze. so basically, i have been going around staring at c-list celebrities, and they stare back. most of the time, i feel like they are someone i met at some point. but no, they are just the person on that VH1 special or the father of that famous actress in that movie. it's nice to feel like you know someone though.

i've got this sneezing problem lately.. i think it's the change of season. the problem i have with sneezing is that i am an exceptionally loud sneezer. i don't have a delicate sneeze. in fact, i make this really high pitched noise that sounds like a bird or something. actually, it sounds like one of those squeaky toys that you would give to a dog. i am turning into a plastic toy! help!

still no internet access at home, but lots of ideas brewing. it's that time of year again, time for a big overhaul of stellargirl. if you've got some suggestions for new content, send them my way. i will probably ignore you though, seeing as that i am one stubborn girl... with a very high pitched sneeze.

sorry i haven't been writing, i just moved and i have no internet access. many people are surprised that i can even deal. but guess what? i am doing just fine. i have some good stories to tell but they are going to have to come at a later date. for now, sit back and enjoy your weekend. there is a huge lunar eclipse tomorow. i can already feel its effects in positive ways. forward march! until next time...
