guess what? i have a job! that news isn't HALF as interesting as all the cooky emails that i have received over the last month. yes, there is more fun and exciting content to read in the FLUFF section. other interesting news....we still don't have a president, but you probably already knew that.
yesterday was thanksgiving, i had a vegan dinner with all the trimmings, delightful! hmm, my life has been pretty boring. i need an apartment, but that seems to be a tough thing to find in the San Francisco bay area....keep yer eye out for me.
things for you to do this week: get in touch with an old video game you loved to play as a child...and then see if you can still kick ass. then, get your hands on yo la tengo, I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One and just listen listen listen...until you drift off into another plane.

finally, i can still have faith in Clark Laboratories! my pictures finally arrived at long last from the night at sugar mom's with some of my peeps, the night before i left.

this election stuff is absolutely cuckoo. i am kind of glad that the fat lady hasn't sung anything yet, as i am still hoping that gore will make it to office. this was a really tough election, and i know that people of america have now realized the importance of their votes...or perhaps even their duty as citizens to vote and to take it very, very seriously. i also think that this election serves as a message that voting procedures are totally antiquated, messy, and need to be improved. i know one thing that i have learned....it is time for me to get more involved!

Absolute CRAZZZINESS!! just to give you some info...it is 7:07 pm PST and and the state of Florida has just become up for grabs. by the time that you will be reading this, we will already know who has won the election, but right now, there is no way of knowing! i am on the edge of my seat! i sincerely hope that Nader gets 5% of the vote so more funds are available for third-party candidates. it should be interesting to see how voter results are out here in the west.
when i got on BART this evening, there was a definite buzz in the air. people all over the place were encouraging voters to vote Nader, out of "hope" rather than to vote for Gore out of "fear." i am way too sidetracked right now by the whole possibility of change that is before us. but i am also glad to be so excited, and to know that my peers are so excited and that the next time there is an election, we will fully stand up for what we believe in....of course, most of us will probably move to another country if Bush wins!

Just a note on stellargirl...i like to send my photos out to Clark Laboratories in DC, but i have been waiting for weeks for my recent pictures and i am starting to get a little nervous. i have been way too lazy to change very much of anything on the site, but i just wanted to let you know that the intention was there. of course, i have been entirely too concerned with the state of the future of our country! yowsa!
